Arguments about who makes the city’s best tacos are now eclipsing best burger conversations. Just opened, this little taqueria, tucked around the corner from the Picasso Museum, is a serious contender. Mexican-Guatemalan founder Guillermo and his Swedish-Chilean girlfriend Patricia have created an Instagram-worthy space.

The simple menu features five tacos, including the Carnitas (pork, coriando & cilantro), Lupita (beef, chorizo in chili sauce, sour cream & onion) and vegetarian La Jardinera. There are starters like nachos and desserts such as tres leches or Mexican cheesecake.

Everything is homemade and gluten free. Accompany with a Mexican beer, margarita or michelada, then head to the open-air terrace for tequila and mezcal.
