Demano Kids Workshops & Market
Pioneering “trashion” brand Demano creates stylish products out of unwanted materials unique to Barcelona. Thanks to a special agreement with the city council, this eco-conscious label uses posters from Catalan cultural events, such as the Grec festival or La Mercè, and transforms them into well-made bags, purses and accessories, giving new life to objects that would otherwise end up in the garbage.
Pick up their wares online or at their shop in the Sant Pere neighborhood, or stop by their space in Poblenou on Saturday, June 27th for a special day of kids workshops and a market. Appropriate for kids aged 4 to 12-years-old, the workshops will take place from 12pm to 2pm (jewelry) and 5pm to 7pm (bags). Several other kids brands are participating in the market, ongoing from 11:30am to 7pm, with fresh fruit juices on hand by Green Shots.
